Ticks transmit Lyme, ehrlichia, anaplasma, and more โ€” many of which don't show symptoms for weeks. Prevention is far easier than treatment.

Modern oral and topical preventives kill ticks before they transmit disease. Choose based on your pet's lifestyle and your regional risk.

If you find a tick, remove it with fine tweezers close to the skin, straight out โ€” no twisting or burning. Save it in a bag in case testing is needed.
