About Dr. Rene'

A veterinarian on a mission to make pet health feel less overwhelming and a lot more human.

Hi, I'm Dr. Rene'

I've been a veterinarian for 15 years, and I genuinely love what I do. My favorite part of any day is sitting with a pet owner and translating the medical jargon into plain language so they finally understand what is going on with their pet.

I opened my first mobile veterinary practice in 2018 so I could meet pets where they were most comfortable. In 2022, I opened my first brick-and-mortar hospital, and in 2025 I opened a second — all because I believe pets and their people deserve care that is both high-quality and easy to understand.

Ask Dr. Rene' was born from the same passion. I wanted to help more pet owners than I could reach in clinical practice alone — to give you clear, evidence-based information that helps you ask better questions, make confident decisions, and become the best advocate for your pet.

At home, I'm married with four children, three Standard Poodles, five cats, and a Bare-eyed Cockatoo. My house is loud, furry, and full of love — and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The story behind Ask Dr. Rene'

Why I created Ask Dr. Rene'

After years in exam rooms, I noticed the same thing over and over: pet owners weren't looking for more opinions — they had already read a dozen. They were looking for clearer explanations.

They wanted someone to slow down, translate the medical language, and help them actually understand what was happening to their pet. That's the moment when fear turns into confidence — and better decisions get made.

I created Ask Dr. Rene' to be that space for you. Whether you're reading an article, watching a quick video, or booking an educational consultation, the goal is always the same: clearer explanations, not more noise.
