About Dr. Rene'
A veterinarian on a mission to make pet health feel less overwhelming and a lot more human.
More than 15 years at the side of pets and their people
I've spent over a decade in clinical practice, holding the paws of anxious dogs, calming worried cats, and — just as importantly — reassuring the humans who love them.
What I noticed again and again was that the biggest source of stress wasn't the diagnosis itself. It was the not knowing: the unanswered questions, the conflicting internet advice, the fear of making the wrong decision.
That's why I created Ask Dr. Rene': a space where pet owners can access clear, evidence-based veterinary education and feel empowered to advocate for their pets.
Why I created Ask Dr. Rene'
After years in clinical practice, I noticed something that kept repeating itself in the exam room. Owners weren't looking for more opinions — they had already read a dozen. They were looking for clearer explanations.
They wanted someone to slow down, translate the medical language, and help them actually understand what was happening to their pet. That's the moment when fear turns into confidence — and better decisions get made.
That's the mission behind everything I create, whether it's a TikTok explaining a symptom in 60 seconds, a YouTube deep-dive, or a full guide here on the website. Same goal every time: clearer explanations, not more noise.
